A sizable crowd attended Coupeville’s annual Thanksgiving Potluck Thursday at the Rec Hall, despite rumblings the event would not continue.
A new batch of volunteers took over the event after previous volunteers were looking for new blood to continue.
New organizer Lisa Bernhardt said the turnout was good.
“About 150 (attended),” she said. “Down from the usual 200, but the word had been put out as the event was going away so the fact that we held it with that many was terrific.”
Volunteers provided the main staples of the meal and guests were asked to bring their favorite side dish.
