While I have no comment on the qualifications and suitablility of either person for the Prosecuting Attorney position, I believe that Mr. Banks made a serious error in judgement and that his decision to fire Mr. Selby made Banks appear childish and punitive.

It seems to me that this decision will have negative ramifications to him, perhaps even alienating constituents from his own party.
