As a class, we wanted to create a pictorial portrait of our beautiful state of Washington so we asked your readers to send postcards illustrating the key features and points of interest in your city.

Our social studies project was a huge success. We received a total of 1,024 postcards! Many students received photos and letters. We learned many things about our state. Thank you for printing my letter in your newspaper, the Whidbey News-Times. We would also like to thank your readers for helping us create a “postcard profile” of our beautiful state of Washington.
