Congressman Rick Larsen will be in Oak Harbor Wednesday to meet with veterans.

Larsen has been holding “Conversation with Veterans” meetings across the Second Congressional District during the August recess.

The Democrat from Arlington will be holding one of his conversations Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the American Legion, 690 SE Barrington Dr.

Larsen said he will discuss and answer questions related to veteran benefits, mental health services and housing. Representatives from the VA will be available to answer questions on healthcare, eligibility and enrollment, homelessness, women’s programs and the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Mount Vernon.
