Reserve to host ‘ranger talks’

Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve will host a series of ranger talks this summer throughout the reserve. The 30-minute talks are free and open to the public and will be held at 1 p.m. on scheduled days.

Talks are scheduled for the following days:

Sunday, July 13

“Front Street historical walking tour” will meet at the Coupeville Wharf kiosk.

Saturday, July 19

“Wagons West: Gold and Land” will meet at Ebey’s Prairie Overlook on Cemetery Road.

Friday, July 25

Saturday, July 26

“After the Ebey Tragedy: Bringing Joy Back to the Prairie” will meet at the Jacob Ebey House on the Ebey’s Prairie Trail.

Saturday, Aug. 2

“Front Street historical walking tour” will meet at the Coupeville Wharf kiosk.

Saturday, Aug. 9

“Early Transportation and Floating Markets” will meet at the picnic tables at Ebey’s Landing State Park at the end of Ebey Road.
