Runny noses balance Washington state’s budget

Our state’s fiscal crisis could be easily solved if only law enforcement would do their job. Washington state law RCW 70.54.050 has the potential to raise billions in revenue if fully implemented. If the maximum misdemeanor penalty of $1,000 would be applied to every child under 5 with a green, runny nose (see RCW 70.54.050), not only would the $2.5 billion shortfall be corrected, there would be an $8 billion surplus! Day care centers and kindergartens alone could turn the state around! Mall cops could also be pulling over strollers of suspected offenders.

Remember, this law is still valid and we can’t afford to ignore it any longer! If you see an obvious violator, contact your local authority.

Thank you for supporting your state!
