The Coupeville and Sequim high school tennis teams played a 4-3 non-league match for the second time this season; this time Sequim won Monday, Oct. 12, in Coupeville.

The Coupeville and Sequim high school tennis teams played a 4-3 non-league match for the second time this season; this time Sequim won Monday, Oct. 12, in Coupeville.

Coupeville opened the season with a 4-3 win over Sequim Sept. 14.

Coupeville (3-0, 4-3) hosts Chimacum/Port Townsend (0-7) at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14. A win by the Wolves will secure the Olympic League 1A title.

In the latest match with Sequim, Coupeville earned wins in first singles and third and fourth doubles.

Sebastian Davis came back for a 6-7(5-7), 6-2, 11-9 win in No. 1 singles.

Grey Rische and Jared Helmstadter rolled to a 6-0, 6-3 win in third doubles, while Jimmy Myers and Lilan Sekigawa won 6-4 in fourth doubles.
