For a kid with a sweet tooth, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Soroptimist International of Coupeville is holding its 26th annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at Coupeville Town Park.
Nearly 4,000 plastic Easter Eggs filled with candy and prizes will be scattered and hidden at the park for children to find.
The event starts at 10 a.m. Voluntary admission is a nonperishable food item for Gift from the Heart Food Bank.
There also will be an Easter Basket raffle with ticket sales starting at 9 a.m.
The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photo opportunities.
The egg hunts are intended for children from toddler age through fifth grade.There will be separate hunts for age groups 0-3, 4-6 and 7-9.
A coin toss in the hay will be held for older children.
Overall, 3,716 eggs will be hidden containing candy or gold medallions that merit a prize. There are 230 gold medallions among the eggs.
Coupeville Town Park is located in the northwest part of town along Coveland and Colburn steets.
