Makana Stone and Dalton Martin won multiple events to pace the Coupeville High School attack in a four-team track meet in Port Townsend Thursday, April 14.
Sequim and Port Angeles also took part.
Stone led the Coupeville girls with wins in the 100 (13.21), 200 (27.1) and 400 (1:00.78).
Lauren Grove picked up two seconds (long jump, 14-00.75; triple jump, 29-02.5); Skyler Lawrence was second in the discus (83-03) and third in the shot put (30-04.75); and McKenzie Meyer ran second in the 300 hurdles (58.21).
Martin topped the boys with victories in the discus (136-10) and javelin (129-11). He also placed third in the shot put (41-10).
Mitchell Losey placed second to Martin in the javelin (127-06) as the Wolves dominated the event by taking seven of the top nine spots.
The Wolves also earned seconds from Danny Conlisk (800, 2:15.7), Lathom Kelley (long jump, 18-06.75) and Ryan Griggs (triple jump, 36-01).
Jacob Smith was third in the 100 (12.02), 200 (24.06) and 4×100 relay (46.81) with Jacob Martin, Jared Helmstadter and Jordan Ford.
The Wolves travel to the Cashmere Invitational at noon Saturday, and then go to Olympic High School with Port Townsend and North Mason at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, April 21.
