Coupeville’s Makana Stone won three events and Dalton Martin took two in a five-team track meet at Port Townsend Thursday, April 30.
Stone captured the girls 200 meters (27.85) and 400 (1:01.22), and she joined Marisa Etzell, Lauren Grove and Kirsten Pelroy to take the 4×200 relay (1:52.64).
Martin led the boys with wins in the shot put (39-11.5) and discus (121-06).
Skylar Lawrence was second for the girls in the shot put (27-10.5) and fifth in the discus (71-08); Lauren Bayne placed third in the high jump (4-04), fourth in the 1,600 (6:07.5) and fifth in the javelin (76-10); Etzell placed third in the 200 (29.39) and Grove fourth in the 100 (13.7).
The girls 4×100 team of Etzell, Pelroy, Grove and Sylvia Hurlburt was third (53.19).
On the boys side, Connor Thompson was third in the high jump (5-04), sixth in the triple jump (35-00.5) and second in the 4×200 relay (1:38.31) with Jared Helmstadter, Lathom Kelley and Jacob Smith.
Helmstadter, Martin, Kelley and Smith ran third in the 4×100 (46.95).
Helmstadter added a fourth in the 200 (24.73) and a sixth in the 100 (12.03), and Kelley was fourth in the high jump (5-02) and sixth in the shot (38).
The Wolves will compete in the Bellevue Christian Invitational at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at Interlake High School.
