Coupeville High School senior Nick Streubel earned second-team, all-state honors in football, the Associated Press announced Thursday, Dec. 19.

Streubel was an offensive line choice by the AP for the all-state 1A team.

He was joined on the second-team line by Zach Jacobson of King’s.

Streubel and Jacobson were the only 1A players from the Cascade Conference to pick up all-state honors.

The only Cascade Conference 2A player to be selected was second-team linebacker Taylor Comfort of Sultan.
