Be careful following the flutist (Tim Eyman) blindly. Lower taxes and smaller government sound great.
How about less fire and police protection? Fewer nurses and hospital staff? Fewer teachers, school supplies and equipment? No school buses? Road and highway maintenance worse than it is? Poorer and more expensive ferry service?
How does it feel to pull up along side an $80,000 to $100,000 motor home or Ferrari, Jaguar, etc., and know the owners can’t afford more than a $30 license fee?
People, services cost money and we must pay taxes to maintain our quality of life, not to mention our property values.
