Island Beach Access wants to thank the people of Coupeville and Peg Tennant, Saturday Market manager. For two Saturdays in October at the Farmers Market, our nonprofit organization, which is staffed by volunteers, had a booth for public information and awareness plus sponsoring a donation raffle. Your market is not only well organized, but also full of respectful, interested citizens.

Island Beach Access’s mission is to identify, research, map, sign and preserve public access to public shorelines of Island County for its citizens and visitors. Through research, education and negotiation, IBA has regained public access to a number of large and small public beaches on Whidbey Island.

Our donation raffle was won by Coupeville citizen Grace Hilliard. It was a pleasure to be involved with the community of Coupeville. Thank you.
