The Lady Washington tall ship will return to the Village by the Sea.

The replica of a historic ship, the Lady Washington has appeared in countless movies and TV shows. She offers tours and onboard adventures for landlubbers looking for a taste of old seafaring ways.

She is set to arrive in the South Whidbey Harbor May 19 and will be there until May 24. Events aboard begin this Friday and run through Sunday.

Dockside tours, usually running 30 minutes, are open to the public for a suggested donation of $5 and are scheduled for 11 a.m. on May 21 and May 22. Sailing adventures, which last two to three hours, are slated for 2 and 5 p.m. on May 20-22. Tickets are $49 for kids, $69 for adults and $59 for seniors, students and military.
