Some Town of Coupeville customers woke up this morning without water.

Public Works Director Willie LaRue said there is a leak somewhere in the main water line and crews are on scene investigating.

The outage is effecting customers from Southwest Terry Road all the way to the ferry dock.

LaRue said he doesn’t have an estimate of how long the customers will be without water until crews locate the broken line and get an assessment.

In the meantime, he said customers impacted by the outage are being contacted about the issue.
