The Nature Conservancy is seeking volunteers willing to work hard for nature when it’s likely to be cold and wet. Volunteers will remove invasive weeds and block off unwanted trails along the scenic bluff at Ebey’s Landing.
The Robert Pratt Preserve at Ebey’s Landing is one of the conservancy’s most popular preserves and one of the least disturbed coastal habitats in the state, according to a news release.
Work party hours Saturday, Feb. 18, are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and rain g ear is a must. The conservancy will provide snacks and gloves. This is billed as a physically intense but rewarding experience. For more information and to sign up, contact Julie Edwards at julie.edwards@tnc.org or 206-343-4345 ext. 381.
