The Whidbey Camano Land Trust’s 30th anniversary celebration at Camp Casey in Coupeville is extending its deadline to purchase tickets until 8 a.m. Monday.
The event, themed “Explore and Play,” will take place 2–5:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and will feature a salmon barbecue, live music, hands-on activities, local history storytelling, and a variety of tours and walks, including trips to old-growth forest, Fort Casey and Crockett Lake.
Tickets are $10 for individuals or $25 for a family of three or more. The featured speaker is Martin LeBlanc of the Children and Nature Network.
