Whidbey Community Chorus invites singers to join now

The Whidbey Community Chorus, under the direction of Chet Hansen, invites singers to join the chorus in preparing for its annual spring concerts. This year the chorus will transport audiences to the Emerald Isle through “Letters from Ireland” by Mark Brymer. Drawing on actual texts of letters written from Ireland to America, and weaving them into a fabric of traditional Celtic melodies, Brymer has created a suite that is a powerful testament to the first generations of Irish immigrants to America.
