Tuesday, Dec. 17

At 8:05 a.m., a caller reported that a man who walks by houses on S.E. 14th Avenue each morning yells “profanities and other such sayings.”

At 9:29 a.m., there was a report that a woman was crawling around inside the donation bin in the Albertsons parking lot.

At 10:06 a.m., a Crosby Avenue woman reported that her daughter used her library card to check out a large number of books without permission.

At 2:35 p.m., a car hit a bicyclist on N.W. Heller Street. The bicyclist didn’t appear to be injured, but was transported to the hospital for observation.

At 3:26 p.m., a S.E. Sixth Avenue resident reported that a skinny man carrying wires was running through back yards and jumped a fence.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 18

At 10:22 a.m., a caller reported that a mirror was stolen from a moving truck on Highway 20.

At 10:26 a.m., a caller reported that someone left a harassing note about cats at a Highway 20 location.

At 10:39 a.m., a caller reported that a man in a Highway 20 parking lot was blaring his radio and turned it up and put it on top of the soda machine when asked to turn it down.

At 10:50 a.m., a witness reported that a man grabbed a woman’s face and yelled at her on S.W. Sixth Avenue.

At 11 a.m., a man reported that marijuana-smoking squatters were living at a Heller Road location.

At 11:25 a.m., there was a report that people set up offensive political signs and banners near the post office.

At 1:16 p.m., a caller reported that a man in a Santa hat was going door-to door, asking for donations.

At 1:50 p.m., a caller reported that someone dumped garbage bags full of food at the RV park.

At 2:10 p.m., a S.W. Barrington Drive resident reported that a burglar tried to break in the house and left a tool wedged into a door jam.

At 2:34 p.m., a caller reported that a man was harassing smokers in front of a Highway 20 business.

At 7:59 p.m., Safeway reported that a hoodie-wearing woman who was at the self-check-out register for a half an hour appeared very drunk or high.

 

Thursday, Dec. 19

At 11:46 a.m., a N. Oak Harbor Street resident reported that her son’s father sent threatening text messages. He threatened to harm her with a baseball bat.

At 12:05 p.m., a caller reported a road rage incident on S.E. Bayshore Drive. The driver of a blue Sedan went into reverse and backed into a Scion.

At 12:19 p.m., there was a report that an “aggressive resident” at a S.W. Sixth Avenue facility slapped staff members and hit another resident.

At 1:31 p.m., a caller reported being chased down by two dogs in the N.W. Rigging Street neighborhood.

At 2 p.m., a caller reported that a neon-clad woman who looked “all cracked out” was knocking on random doors in the E. Whidbey Avenue neighborhood, asking to borrow $15.
