It was all defense as Oak Harbor and host Anacortes settled for a scoreless tie in the opening soccer match of the 2016 season Saturday, March 12.

It was all defense as Oak Harbor and host Anacortes settled for a scoreless tie in the opening soccer match of the 2016 season Saturday, March 12.

“We played for the first game,” Wildcat coach Brian Thompson said. “Anacortes came out very fast but we matched them well.”

Oak Harbor entertains Mount Vernon at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, in the home opener.
