Unable to get shots to fall, the Oak Harbor High School girls basketball team lost 66-14 at Mount Baker in Deming Friday, Dec. 11.

The Wildcats were missing starters Rashanna Graham and Janae Payne and “didn’t know how to play short-handed,” according to coach Jon Atkins.

“We just couldn’t get anything to go down,” he added.

Oak Harbor never scored more than four points in a quarter and finished with just five field goals.

AnnaBelle Whitefoot scored six points, Deja Bunch four, Julie Jansen two and Resego Mooki two.

Four Mountaineers scored in double figures, led by Emily Brandland with 17.

Mount Baker (6-0) led at the quarters 17-3, 32-7 and 52-10.

Oak Harbor (2-3) travels to Meadowdale (1-4) at 7:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14.
