The Oak Harbor High School wrestling team started Wesco North competition with a 39-27 win at Marysville-Pilchuck Thursday, Jan. 7.

The Wildcats won seven of the first eight bouts to build a 30-6 lead on the way to the win over the Tomahawks (3-5).

Oak Harbor (5-2) will compete in the Shoreline Invitational at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at Shorecrest High School, then return to Wesco North action when it hosts one of the state’s top teams, Arlington (8-0), at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14.
