Now until mid May, Meerkerk Garden is having it’s peak display of spring bulbs, flowering trees, and it’s specialty, rhododendrons.
The show continues into June, but the abundance of blooms at it’s peak is breathtaking.
It’s the perfect time to visit.
The first five people who post at the bottom of this article and say why they want to visit Meerkerk Garden will receive two free tickets each to the gardens from the Whidbey News-Times.
There is a picnic area so pack your lunch and plan to spend a few hours enjoying this unique peaceful woodland garden.
Regular admission to the garden is $5 per person. Children 16 are admitted for free. Pets on leashes are allowed.
Meerkerk is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
