A wind advisory remains in effect until 10 p.m. tonight along Admiralty Inlet.
Winds are expected to reach 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph the rest of today.
And starting at 6 a.m. Tuesday, the National Weather Service is issuing a high wind watch until 10 p.m.
Winds may reach 30-45 mph with gusts as high was 65 miles per hour.
The strongest winds are expected beginning Tuesday morning and continuing into the afternoon.
“The potential for strong and damaging winds will continue into Tuesday evening for those areas bordering the east entrance to the Strait of Juan de Fuca,”according to the National Weather Service. “High winds can down trees, damage property and cause fairly widespread power outages.”
