The woman said Caesar had been playing a Martin Luther King Jr. speech at a very loud volume when she asked her to turn it down, the report stated. The victim said she and another family member had been watching President Donald Trump’s inauguration in another room. Caesar became very angry and suddenly grabbed the victim by the hair, punching her in the head and upper torso, according to court documents.

The report stated that the victim suffered burns to her hands when she tried to brace herself, placing her hands in a frying pan on a hot stove. Caesar then retrieved a butcher’s knife from the kitchen drawer and hit the woman in the head with it.

The deputy described the victim’s wounds in detail in the report, noting that she had an open and bleeding laceration on the back of her head, red inflamed skin on her hands and red marks on the back of her neck caused by her sweater being pulled along with her hair. The woman was transported to the hospital.

Caesar was later found at Ryan’s House and arrested. The officer noted that Caesar has allegedly been involved in numerous previous domestic disturbances since moving to the island in November 2024, including a time when she was suspected of assaulting a first date in his apartment with a kitchen knife.
