Aaron King, our beloved husband, father, son and friend, passed away May 22, 2011, after a short, hard-fought battle with stomach cancer. Born Nov. 11, 1961, he felt fortunate to spend 37 years of his life in Oak Harbor. He loved the outdoors with a special passion for snowboarding as well as hiking, hunting and camping. In 2008, he opened AK Painting proving to be a very successful businessman.
Aaron is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lisa; two sons, Cody King of Oak Harbor and Daniel Roll and wife Teaka of Lacey, Wash.; parents Carl and Janice King of Oak Harbor; brother Bruce King of Las Vegas; a sister in Jacksonville, Fla.; and best buddy Jimmy Rochefort of Oak Harbor.
At Aaron’s request a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Aaron King Fund at any branch of Whidbey Island Bank.
