Our beloved Anthony Dale O’Clair went to be with our Lord Sept. 19, 2016. “Tony” was born July 16, 1989, in Coupeville. He was 27 years old.
Tony was a humble man who enjoyed his family more than anything else. His children were his pride and joy. He spent many hours at the park with them, going for walks and visiting the library. He shared his love of coin collecting with his children and they would always check their coins for the dates, etc., to see if he would like them. He wanted nothing more than a happy family with his children and girlfriend, Christie Benneck. Christie was the love of his life; they had two children together, Atreyu and Vivianna.
Tony’s bonds with his mother Krista Griffith, stepfather Joel Griffith, sisters Angela, Katie and Crystal Bates, and brother Adam were immeasurable. He loved them so much that he would drop everything and be there for them if needed. He also shared a special bond with his grandparents from both sides of the family, Bill and Linda Noack and Barbara and Al O’Clair. He was deeply loved by all his family. If family came to visit from the east coast he would be one of the first to come visit them. Family was everything.
Tony is also survived by his great-grandfather George Tvelia; nephews, Zyier Clay and Corbyn Bates; nieces, Za’Riiah, Destiny Lomax and Sarenity Bates; uncles and aunts, Micah and Rebecca Noack, Joe and Heather Noack, Donna and Bruce Danziger, Billy and Brenda O’Clair, Timothy O’Clair and Sue Benneck; cousins, Abby, Joseph and Johnny Noack, Ariella and Bethany Danziger, Dameon, Shayna, Malisah, Ashton and Sevyn O’Clair; best friend Justin Estep; and Tony’s loving dog Baloo.
A private memorial was held last week.
