Arsenio Perey

Arsenio Olivar Perey, 63, of Oak Harbor, died at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle on Sept. 13, 2005, following a brief illness.

Mr. Perey was born in Mendez, Philippines, on Dec. 14, 1941, to Marcelo Perey and Rosario (Olivar) Perey. Arsenio was married to Teresita Viado on April 11, 1971, at St. Augustine’s Church in Mendez, Philippines. He was employed as a bailiff in the Philippines court system.

Arsenio is survived by his wife Teresita V. Perey, at home; two daughters, Rafonzel P. Oli and husband Arnel of Oak Harbor and Lumen P. Balboa and husband Simoun in the Philippines; one son, John Marc Aristotle V. Perey in the Philippines; five grandchildren, Batas Balboa, Angelo Ryan Oli, Buhay Balboa, Baiduri Balboa and Biyaya Balboa; also, one brother, Ramon O. Perey and wife Antonia of the Philippines.

Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 17, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Burley Funeral Chapel. A Memorial Mass will take place Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Oak Harbor with Rev. Michael O’Neil, as Celebrant. Arrangements are under the direction of Burley Funeral Chapel.
