Bernice Moffett Devine passed away peacefully at home in Rigby, Idaho on Oct. 20, 2005.  She was born in Burley, Idaho on May 11, 1915. She taught at Clover Valley Elementary and Oak Harbor Jr. High from 1967 to 1983. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred G. Devine, and six siblings.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Smith of Seattle; sons Mark Devine of Boise, Mike Devine of Lacey and Bob Devine of Rigby, Idaho; and six of her siblings. She was dedicated to her family and to students with reading problems especially dyslexia.

Her funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel on O’Leary Street in Oak Harbor on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m.  Burial will follow services at the Maple Leaf Cemetery in Oak Harbor. Flowers may be sent to the Burley Funeral Chapel in Oak Harbor.
