Bessie M. Tikka, 85, of Coupeville, died May 2, 2008, in Coupeville. She is survived locally by daughter Mary Boardman and her husband Bryan; granddaughter Jenn Vrable and her husband Derek; and great-grandchildren Phoebe and Luke, all of Coupeville. There are other relatives surviving her in California and Massachusetts.

Urn burial will be at a later date in Mountain View Cemetery in Troy, New Hampshire. Memorials may be sent to Careage of Whidbey Special Care Unit, 311 NE 3rd St., Coupeville, WA 98239.
