Bruce S. Stammer, 48, died July 3, 2005 at Providence Hospital in Everett. He was born July 23, 1956 in Baltimore Maryland.

Bruce was raised in Baltimore. He joined the U.S. Navy where he traveled the world, ending up on Whidbey Island. In 1993 he met and married his true love, Shannon, in Oak Harbor.

Bruce is survived by his wife and best friend of 12 years, Shannon, as well as his mother Dorothy and her husband Ernest Lichtfuss of Finksburg, Md. He also leaves brother, Skip and his wife Connie Lichtfuss and brother Rick with wife Sue Lichtfuss and sister Michele with husband James High and sister Lisa and husband Don Leilich, all of Maryland.

Bruce was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. 

Funeral services for Bruce S. Stammer were held at Burley Chapel on July 6 and a family graveside service at Marysville Cemetery on July 7. The family has suggested contributions to your favorite charity in Bruce’s name.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel.
