CarolJoanBaker(85) of Coupeville, WA, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of William and Alice McCarthy. She graduated from high school and attended Mt. Mary College. Carol is survived by her husband of 64 years, Therwin (Buzz) Baker, daughters Patricia Clark (Tommy), Susan Webb (Tom), and five great-grandchildren. Carol and her husband enjoyed travel. Her favorite was cruising, especially in northern Europe and Alaska. Memorial service will be held at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Moscow, ID, and interred in Palouse, WA, cemetery on Sept. 16. Many thanks to the kind folks at Whidbey Hospice for the excellent care they gave Carol during her final days.
