Our deeply cherished Carrie Lisa left us all for her Lord’s Kingdom on the morning of October 7, 2023, at Renown Hospital in Reno, NV. She was born Carrie Lisa Elliott on 10 February 1968 to Michael and Pamela Elliott at the Naval Hospital on the Sea Plane Base in Oak Harbor.
Carrie was a vibrant Oak Harbor resident for the majority of her life. Sadly Carrie faced many health challenges throughout her wonderful life. This year she succumbed to complications resulting from a surgery. In spite of her health issues, Carrie rose above them to positively impact many, many with her love, character and infectious charisma… She was not just special – she was “one of a kind”. Her early absence will be deeply felt among the many who loved her.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Frank Palmer of Fallon, NV – where she resided the last 4+ years, her daughters, Colby (Jacob) Jones of Oak Harbor, WA, and Dallas Breilein of Phoenix, AZ, both her parents, her brother Matthew Elliott of Silverdale, WA, and her two stepchildren, Franky and Maddie Palmer of Fallon, NV. She adored and was adored by her two grandchildren, Rivers and Marlowe Jones. She was held ever so dear by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and sisters-in-law – all of whom were lovingly lifted by her presence and personality… Carrie also will be treasured in the memories of her entire local church family from Calvary Chapel where she regularly and faithfully served for many years!
She will be missed deeply and her passing lamented greatly by so many – a testimony to her desire for their good – and her lasting, loving influence.
Celebration of Life for Carrie will take place at First Reformed Church in Oak Harbor, WA, on 18 November at 1:00 pm.
