Corinne Joyce Krebs, age 83, died at Mckinley’s Adult Family Home, Oak Harbor on September 17, 2012. She was born in Sacramento, Calif. on September 22, 1928 to Wilbur and Lesla Cleveland.

Joyce, as she was known, grew up in Northern Calif. She worked as a librarian for the Sacramento City County Library System for twenty-five years. In 2005, she moved to Oak Harbor to be near her family.

Joyce was an avid reader and a worldwide traveler. Family was most important in her life and she loved to visit her children and especially her grandchildren. She visited her family from Alaska to Venezuela.

Joyce is survived by three daughters and their husbands; Linda and Robert Wehrell of Oak Harbor, Michelle and Abnosamu Sanoja of Redmond, Wash. and Kelly and Michael Carney of Eugene, Oreg; by one sister, Bonnie Stevenson and husband Robert of Roseville, Calif. ; ten grandchildren, Jon, Justin and Jorie Wehrell, Jenna Wehrell Howard, Natalia, Stephen and Alexander Sanoja, Nicholas Dyakanoff, Keegan Carney; two great grandchildren, Ava and Nadia Dyakanoff; and two nephews, Mark and David Stevenson. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Tory Dyakanoff and her niece, Holly Stevenson.
