Dagmar F. Taylor, 95, died Jan.7, 2012. Dagmar was born in Seekonk, Mass., on May 6, 1916. She moved to Oak Harbor in 2003 from Los Altos, Calif. She was a member of Family Bible Church in Oak Harbor.
Dagmar had been a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arroyo Grande, Calif., where she gladly and faithfully served her Lord; also visiting convalescent homes. She loved Jesus Christ, her family and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold. Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Richard) Haines of Oak Harbor; son, Douglas Taylor of Beaumont, Texas; two grandchildren, Cindy (Dean) Heintzen and Laura (Kenneth) Martin; and three great-grandchildren, Heather, Samantha and Tyler.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. at Family Bible Church, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gideon Society (www.gideons.org).
