Dianna Jean Atkins of Oak Harbor, was born in Castro Valley, Calif. on May 14, 1960 to David and Frances Duarte. She passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at the family home.

Dianna was a graduate of Waipaha High School in Hawaii. She loved reading mystery books. She worked as a retail cashier during her working career. She and her husband Donald lived in Oak Harbor for the past 17 years. Dianna was a member for 36 years of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and for the past 10 years at the Penn Cove Ward in Oak Harbor.

She is survived by her husband Donald , two sons Devon and Sean, her parents Frances and David Duarte, and two brothers Donald and Daniel Duarte.

Memorial service is 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 201 NE O’Leary St. in Oak Harbor.
