Dianne Burrill, 83 of Kirkland, WA, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2022. She was born August 30, 1938 in Seattle, WA to John and Doris Condon.

She attended Ballard High School and then went on to Linfield College, OR. She married her college sweetheart, Stephen K. Burrill, who preceded her in death in 2005.

Dianne and Steve were longtime residents in Surprise, AZ and Whidbey Island, WA. Dianne loved to travel and she traveled the world with Steve. Her love of history and new adventures always had her looking for a new destination to explore.

Dianne is surived by her two children, Julie Martinez and Mark Burrill, her sister’s Suzanne Morgenroth and Colleen Runnells, her grandchildren, Dr. Jason Martinez and Marisa Martinez; plus 4 great grandchildren, Thaddaeus, Sophia, Logan and Ellianna. She loved them all and touched them deeply.

Dianne was a rare and beautiful kind soul. We will always cherish the memories of her laughter, joy, and love. She will live on in our hearts forever. As her granddaughter Marisa stated, “she will be the our most beautiful butterfly in our gardens.”
