Life-long Oak Harbor resident Donald Boyer, long-time owner of Don Boyer Chevrolet, passed away suddenly on July 21. He was 85 years of age.

A funeral service is planned for 2 p.m. Aug. 6 at the First United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wallin Funeral Home. A full obituary will follow.
