Donna Elaine Shillaker Parrish was born July 5, 1954, at Inglewood Hospital in California. Donna was 62 when she passed away at Providence Hospital in Everett, Wash., on Sept. 22, 2016.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Robert Parrish, her sister Debra Johnson, her stepdaughter Kelly Parrish and her stepson Robert Parrish Jr.
She was the daughter of Marion and Primo Alverez.
Donna grew up in Torrance, Calif. She went to West Torrance High School and El Camino College. She moved to San Francisco, where she owned a screen printing company that did merchandising for many popular and famous music brands.
After moving to Whidbey Island, she became a truck driver, teaming up with her husband for many years. They happily resided in Coupeville, where she enjoyed kayaking, fishing and crabbing.
After catching a rare disease, it led to kidney failure, which she fought for six years.
Donna’s vibrant personality made her unforgettable, and she touched many lives. She always had something nice to say to everyone she met.
Donna will be dearly missed as she is loved by all of her friends and family.
A celebration of life will be announced to family and friends.
