Dorothy Eleanor Anderson, 91, of Oak Harbor, died at her home Tuesday, Oct.14, 2003.

Mrs. Anderson was born on June 10, 1912, in Buffalo, N.Y. She was a registered nurse, having received her nursing certificate in Arizona. Dorothy was married to Alfred Norman Anderson for 30 years. She was a member of the African Violet Society and was a collector of antique silver. She was also very actively involved in salt-water fishing. She moved to Oak Harbor in 1976, after living in the Seattle area for a number of years.

Dorothy is survived by her son Tom Anderson and wife Cindy of Kirkland; her daughter Nancy Anderson of Oak Harbor; also seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Anderson in 1966.
