Dorothy Jane Harrison McGrath passed away Jan. 14, 2005, in Oak Harbor.

Dorothy was born in LeMars, Iowa, March 19, 1916, to George and Marion Harrison. She married Thomas O. McGrath in January 1935. She resided in Los Angeles until 1996 when she moved to Kent. She had lived in Oak Harbor since 2002.

Dorothy is survived by her five children and their spouses: Thomas H. and Nanette McGrath of Prescott, Ariz.; Loretta and Harold Railing of Oak Harbor; Sharon and Al Sloan of Oak Harbor; Melinda and Jerry Hart of Kent; Dennis and Terri McGrath of Phoenix, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her sister, Marion Francis Wood of Folsam, Calif., 11 nieces and nephews also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas O. McGrath, her brother Ronald Harrison and granddaughter Sharon Sloan.
