Memorial services for Edith Goeth, 80, of Trinidad, Texas, were held Saturday, Sept. 21, at Lake Atkins Baptist Church, Rev. John Green and Rev. James Diesch officiating.

Mrs. Goeth died Sept. 8, 2002, at Cedar Lake Nursing Home in Malakoff, Texas, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.

She was born in Camp Gaw, N.J., Aug. 25, 1933, to Frank and Alice Remail.

She is survived by her husband Billy Goeth of Trinidad, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law John and Carol Turner of San Ramon, Calif., David and Marcy Turner of Sacramento, Calif., Frank and Carol Goeth of Whidbey Island and Paul Goeth of Baltimore, Md.; daughters and sons-in-law Katherine and James Diesch, Malakoff, Texas, Elizabeth and Jeffrey Merrell, Elyria, Ohio, Laura and Joseph Williams of Salem, Ore., and Allyson and Michael Brand of Middleburg, Fla.; and 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
