Elsie Leonore Seelinger, 92, of Coupeville, went home to be with the Lord at 7:20 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2011. She was born on May 12, 1918, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Ralph and Opal Binkley.

Elsie worked most of her life as a beautician and retired after moving to Whidbey Island in 1986 with her husband Phillip. Her passions in life were her family, cooking, gardening and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy. She is survived by her husband Phillip, sons Robert, David and Danny, along with six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
