Our beloved son, Gabe, passed away January 1, 2024 in his home in Seattle from natural causes due to medical complications. He was born and raised in Iowa and moved to Coupeville, Washington in 1988. He often returned there to meet up with his extended family of friends.

After graduation he moved to Seattle and lived and worked in and around the Greenwood/Greenlake area making those neighborhoods his home for 28 years. Gabe loved sports as a participant and a supporter. His first love was basketball, excelling in it in high school and continuing to play it years after high school.

Gabe was loving, funny, fun-loving and would go out of his way to help anyone that needed it. Along with his family, Gabe had so many friends who loved him.

Gabe, we love you and miss you. Rest peacefully, without pain and without burdens.
