Gloria C. Ball died in Salem, Ore., on July 2, 2007 at age 75. Gloria was born Aug. 2, 1931 in Fargo, N.D., to Bernard and Ella Christianson.

Gloria graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1953 as a Registered Nurse.

Gloria married Courtland D. Ball III in 1953 and lovingly served at his side as a naval officer’s wife for 30 years and homemaker until his death in 1994 in Coupeville. Gloria loved to quilt, play games, laugh, travel abroad, and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children; Suzy Klassen and husband Bruce of Salem, Josy Ansley of West Linn, Ore., Dwight C. Ball of Ridgecrest, Calif.; and her four grandchildren, Carly Klassen, Jessy Klassen, Tyson Klassen, and Celia Ansley.
