Harold Goodlow, 96, of Coupeville, died April 21, 2003 at Careage of Whidbey.
Mr. Goodlow was born on June 18, 1906, to George and Nellie Goodlow. He was married in Chicago to Thelma Lee Mallory. Harold was employed as a police officer in Chicago. The couple moved to Los Angeles, where they resided in the San Fernando Valley. He was employed there as a security officer for Hughes Aircraft for more than 20 years. After Harold’s retirement, they moved to Coupeville in 1969. He was employed as a school bus driver for the Coupeville School District for 10 years.
Harold was a member of the Whidby Lodge No.15 F&AM. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Harold is survive by his two sons, Mike Goodlow of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and Bob Goodlow of Hawaii; by his two grandchildren, Jennifer Sherbeth and husband Ken of Lundar, Manitoba, and Sean Goodlow and wife Wendy of Winnipeg, Canada; by his three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah and Justin Sherbeth; also by his sister Barbara in Florida. He was preceded in death by one son, Dick Goodlow.
In keeping with his wishes, no service will be held. Arrangements and cremation under direction of Burley Funeral Chapel.
