A public memorial service for Harold M. Norton will be held Saturday, May 28, from 2 to 4 p.m., at 3564 N. Appian Way, Oak Harbor. Mr. Norton was born June 28, 1921, in Crane, Mo. He died Feb. 23, 2005, in Oak Harbor.

He had lived in Oak Harbor since 1948. He was a retired carpenter and had served in World War II. His hobbies were fishing, camping and puttering in his workshop. He is survived by his wife Jenny, three daughters, one stepdaughter, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
