Howard N. Quistorf, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on Oct 8, 2009 in Spokane. He was born April 9, 1920 in Gladstone, Mich. Quis was a decorated World War II veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor who was credited with shooting down one and a half enemy aircraft during the attack, and retired from the Navy with 30 years as a Chief Warrant Officer. He was a great outdoorsman and spent his retirement years traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by a son John and daughter Laura as well as 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue, daughter Sue Diane and son Michael.
