Jamie was born in Oakland, California on June 25th, 1949 to James and Virginia Crewes. She passed away at home on December 10th, 2023.

She grew up in Oak Harbor, Washington with her three sisters and graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1967. She attended Washington State University in Pullman, WA and Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, WA.

She loved horses, the outdoors and camping. She long-hauled horses and was a jockey.

She also drove a dump truck at Krieg Construction for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her mother and father James and Virginia Crewes and her sister Nance Jordan.

She is survived by her sisters Joyce Pawson and Bonnie Rice (Peter Rice), her son Shawn Deckwa and daughter, Tia Casimire (Russell Casimire,Jr.). She is also survived by 5 grandkids; Maliya, Russell and Joseph Casimire and Leighton and Brielle Deckwa.

A memorial service is being planned for early summer. We will be holding a service Saturday, July 13 at 1:00 PM at Church on the Rock in Oak Harbor, Washington, followed by a bonfire.
