She was born in Portland to Hubert and Dorothy Kingham. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1964.

She taught for 13 years with the Federal Way School District. She married Wayne Hollatz in 1981 and they had two daughters. She was passionate about music, especially the piano.

Her hobbies included reading, square dancing, games, knitting and traveling. She was very active in the church. Family was very important to her. Being a mom brought her great joy, but being a Nana was her favorite role.

She is survived by her daughters, Julie (Jeffrey)Shaw and Michelle (Jeff) Hollatz-Finley, and grandkids, Olivia, Peyton, Jordan, Jessica and Jenna.

Memorial service is at 2 p.m. Feb. 9 at Luther Memorial, 4800 N.E. 72nd Ave, Portland, Ore.
